The monetary policy interest rate is currently the interest rate on NBR's repo operations, executed in the form of tenders, at a fixed interest rate and with a maturity of one week.

The interest rates on the NBR's standing facilities, i.e. the deposit facility and the lending facility, were set at +/- 4 percentage points around the monetary policy rate as from 7 May 2008.
